In 2007 the Manfrotto 190X received the TIPA award for Best Accessory on the market, while the 190XPROB won The Editor's Choice award from American Photo. Manfrotto was so proud to receive these awards, but they didn't want to stop there. Manfrotto has taken this already amazing tripod to the next level. Manfrotto presents a New Generation of tripods to the carbon fiber tripod world, extremely light weight with, incredible performance, fast and easy to use combining incredibly light, high quality materials (100% Carbon Fiber Tubes, Magnesium and aluminum die castings) a revolutionary patented center column mechanism (Q90°, Quick Center Column System), and innovative design. 

The 190CXPRO3 and the 190CXPRO4 represent three section and four section versions of the PRO tripods. These PRO versions have the patented quick center column system that now uses a tri-faceted 100% full carbon fiber tube, magnesium die castings and magnesium top plate with an integrated leveling bubble.

All the locking levers and main castings have been redesigned to allow not only for a beautiful product, but many ergonomic improvements as well as lightness and reliability

The 190CX Pro Series incorporates the use of 100% carbon fiber tubes for the legs and the center column

All central castings are made with magnesium adding to the overall light weight and performance of the tripod.

Much like the aluminum 190XPROB, the new 190CX has the innovative Q90° (quick center column system). The CX PRO versions include the new tri-faceted 100% carbon fiber tube slides making it easier to go from vertical to horizontal position.

Manfrotto incorporates new rounded legs which are 100% CARBON FIBER TUBES for improved rigidity and lightness.

The 190CX incorporates new leg angle selector levers that have been designed to improve ergonomics and the overall feel when working with the tripod.

A new magnesium top plate which includes a bubble to aid in leveling the tripod and camera. It also has been highly refined to create a very appealing design that also reduces weight.

The new ergonomic locking levers for the legs have been completely redesigned toimprove performance. They are much easier to operate and become a seamless element of the tripod.
