Dixie Dixon is a Texas born and bred commercial fashion photographer. Just a few years out of college, this 20-something’s career is unfolding one adventure after another.

She was given her first Nikon Camera, the Nikon FG, at just 12 years old, which peaked her curiosity in the field and served as her sidekick in exploring the world. She would continually clock seven to ten hours in the darkroom without even realizing it. While in college she studied in London with a world-renowned fashion photographer and became deeply inspired by the beautiful illusion of fashion and commercial photography.

It has been said that her idealistic vision of the world is reflected into every single frame- full of life, beautiful energy, and most of all, Soul. Her passion has lead her to shoot internationally in places such as Cannes, Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Ibiza, and Barcelona recently for various brands, tv shows, commercial campaigns and editorial projects. Just this year she was named one of sixteen Nikon Ambassadors of the United States.

Sensuous and polished, her images create a dream world in which romance is always alive. Her fresh vision has attracted clients such as Florsheim Shoes, Inside Edition, Nikon, CBS, G-Technology, Profoto, MAC Group, Billy Jealousy, Nha Khanh, ProFoods, American Heart Association & Angelberry Organics. Her work has been published in Rangefinder, PDN, Professional Photographers Magazine, Dapper Magazine, Living Magazine, Beverly Drive Magazine, and Nikon World.

"I love Photography. It’s my passion, my first true love, and my religion. It is also my second career. I feel blessed everyday of my life that I get to do what I love. I shoot from the heart and I do my best to create an environment that allows my subject to be totally disarmed so that I can capture them in a way that is authentic. I use natural light to aid in my ability to tell an impactful and meaningful story."

Judy Host is recognized internationally as an accomplished portrait photographer with studios located in both Northern California and Atlanta, Georgia. A gifted professional with a unique talent for capturing the innocence and trust that lies within the heart of every individual has earned her the respect and recognition of her colleagues for more then a decade. Judy has that rare ability to create a special rapport with her clients that ultimately tells a story or reflects a feeling in that one-of-a-kind portrait. Her skill to paint within natural light and to attend to the smallest detail of the composition is a trait that explains why many times her portraits are mistaken for paintings. As with other cherished memories, your appreciation and enjoyment of your portrait will grow with each passing year.

Judy, who has won numerous awards for her photography, has been featured in several publications for her outstanding environmental portraiture. In 2004, she was featured in Rangefinder magazine as one of "Today's Top Children's photographers." and again in July 2011 in an article titled “The Soulful Portrait.” Her work has been selected for National Exhibition by the Professional Photographers of America from whom she has received a Masters and Craftsmen degree. In 1999, Judy received her first of three Kodak Gallery awards. This award is given to those photographers who excel in creativity and the pursuit of excellence in quality. In the year 2000, she received the second award and in 2002, the third award for Kodak's Electronic Imaging. Many of her images have been exhibited at Epcot Center and are part of a traveling loan collection. In the summer of 2012, Judy was honored by Sigma to become a Sigma Pro. She is one of six photographers who been invited into their program.
