Kata GDC Series R-101 Small Rucksack with TST Protection for a D/SLR Camera Body or Mini DV Camcorder and a 12" Notebook.

The compact R-101 is designed to hold a D/SLR body with lens attached, and accessories or a Mini DV camcorder. The rear padded compartment will hold a small laptop (up to 12-inch) or additional accessories. 

The special design gives quick, separate access to the camera in the central compartment, while the rest of the equipment surrounding it remains secure. Additional accessories and personal essentials can be stored in the spacious arched lid compartment, the 2 outside pockets, and the central mesh/vinyl pocket. 

The ergonomic harness includes a unique cushioning and shock absorbing system, which allows for optimal ventilation and weight distribution. The Rucksacks include a well-padded dividing set, which allows you to organize it to fit your requirements, and if needed Kata's extra Modi-Vers Kits are available. 

Specially designed Camera Straps can be attached to the D-rings on the harness, and will take the camera load off your neck. Full protection on the main zipper, and Kata's unique cover make sure that your sensitive equipment remains well protected from the elements.

EPH: Ergonomic Photo System is modular and versatile. It allows you to set the configuration required for the mission. You can attach 2 or 3 products that are "EPH System Compatible" into a set. There are more than 15 different possible combinations.

TST: Thermo Shield Technology is made of Super Nylon - a Mil-Std, double cord, water and dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric. Underneath, a cross linked closed cell PR+EVA shield is impact and shock protective providing a comprehensive insulation against cold, heat and moisture.

Modi-Vers: With the Modular Versatile Divider System you can create compartments inside the case to meet your exact requirements. They can be cut with scissors to any desired size You can then attach the newly cut divider to another divider or the walls of the bag with special Hook & Loop connectors.

Element Cover: The Double sided Elements cover protects case and equipment in inclement weather; black side out in rain or snow, and in sun reverse to silver for heat reflection.

On Board: These bags meet the strict new airline regulations for carry-on luggage size.

Camera Straps: They are attached to the D-rings on the backpack harness to connect to your SLR and take load off your neck. The straps can easily be turned into a regular camera strap when needed.

Laptop Compartment: Designated Laptop compartments feature in bags and backpacks intended for field work.
