Description
Born from a desire for flagship performance and innovation in a more compact and streamlined connected camera, the D7500 delivers the game-changing resolution, ISO range, image processing and energy efficiency of the award-winning D500 in an enthusiast-level DSLR. Simply put, the D7500 is built to outperform any camera in its class with top-tier image quality, blazing speed, flawless autofocus, 4K Ultra HD video and pro-grade creative tools—all in a comfortable, rugged design. This is a camera for the new generation of creators.
Features List
Capture incredible moments with the intuitive D7500 in all conditions. Designed to be agile, the DX-format D7500 packs a 20.9-megapixel CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 5 image-processing engine into a highly durable body. A broad ISO range of 100 to 51200 combined with a 51-point autofocus system makes this camera essential for clear, fast-paced shooting. The D7500 records video in breathtaking detail at up to 4K UHD/30p, doubling its functionality as both an essential tool for still and moving images. Whatever your subject, the D7500 will always deliver reliable performance with every shot.
Stay sharp
Witness striking image quality and stunning performance with the D7500. The 20.9-megapixel CMOS image sensor works in tandem with the EXPEED 5 image processing engine to accurately photograph vivid details while maintaining rich textures and colours. With an ISO range of 100 to 51200, the D7500 delivers superior definition and enhanced colour reproduction regardless of lighting conditions.

Prepared for anything
Optimised with a 51-point Multi-CAM 3500 auto focus system, the D7500’s sensor module can detect down to -3 EV and capture every detail in sharp focus. 15 cross-type sensors offer higher subject detection capabilities. To keep up with the action, the EXPEED 5 image processing engine and an increased buffer size gives the D7500 the power to shoot up to 8 frames per second1 for approximately 50 frames in RAW or 100 frames in JPEG. In a first for the D7000 series, a highlight-weighted metering mode2 avoids overblown highlights from strong light sources, such as the setting sun.

Capture every detail
Made for more than just still photography, the D7500 can record up to 4K UHD/30p cinema-quality videos and includes a built-in timelapse mode that renders beautiful high-speed sequences in 4K UHD. Achieve richer tonal gradation and natural brightness with Active D-Lighting3, a function that preserves highlights and shadows when shooting high contrast scenes.

Make every shot count
Get results every time using a variety of built-in Picture Control modes. The new Auto Picture Control tool automatically adjusts colour, sharpness and clarity without the need for retouching. The multiple exposure function can combine up to 10 images while saving each individual frame in addition to the composite image. The D7500 is also the first Nikon DSLR to offer in-camera RAW batch processing – a function that processes images in large quantities while maintaining individual image attributes.

Rugged and reliable
The D7500 is built with a monocoque structure made from lightweight, high-stiffness carbon fibre and reinforced by thermoplastic. Weighing approximately 720g, the compact D7500 also features an ergonomic grip for increased comfort in handheld shooting situations. The comprehensive weather sealing keeps out dust and water droplets, even when conditions are less than ideal, making the D7500 a rugged and reliable companion.

Smart and seamless sharing
Enjoy seamless online sharing with the free SnapBridge4 app. The D7500 will maintain a constant connection via the built-in Bluetooth® and WiFi with just a simple one-time setup on your compatible smart device5. For added convenience, SnapBridge will automatically transfer your images to your smart device and upload them to Nikon Image Space on the go. SnapBridge also turns your smart device into a remote control for shooting away from the camera.

Built for Advanced Lighting
The D7500 is the first Nikon DSLR to use a built-in flash that supports a radio-controlled Advanced Wireless Lighting system. This lets you light your subjects from off-camera positions to add depth and drama to your shots. Simply attach the WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller to your D7500 and control up to six groups of SB-5000 Speedlights, even when they’re out of view.

- AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR Lens
- Included with the camera body is the AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR lens, which provides a 24-120mm equivalent focal length range that covers wide-angle to telephoto perspectives. A bright f/2.8-4 maximum aperture range benefits working in low-light conditions and also affords greater control over focus placement for selective focus shooting. The optical design of this DX-dedicated zoom incorporates three aspherical elements and four extra-low dispersion elements, which combine to reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range.
- This lens also incorporates a four stop-effective Vibration Reduction system to minimize the appearance of camera shake, and an electromagnetic aperture mechanism offers greater exposure stability at fast continuous shooting rates. Super Integrated and Nano Crystal Coatings have been applied to individual lens elements to control lens flare and ghosting, and both the front and rear elements also receive a fluorine coating to guard against smudging, moisture, and dust.
