8K Optical Performance with Canon Cinema EOS Color Science
The lenses produce superb color rendition and detail, with sharp images from the center to the outer edges, rated for 8K HDR capture. An 11-blade aperture creates soft, beautiful light rays and stunning depth-of-field falloff, while an internal focusing system delivers minimized focus breathing and excellent parfocal performance. The lenses render the beautiful and warm color tones synonymous with Canon's cinema lens family.
Canon's advanced optical technology and lens coatings have combined to achieve 8K optical performance through the zoom range. Various types of aberrations have been corrected to achieve beautiful imagery from the center of the image out to all edges.
All of Canon's cinema lenses have been designed with a consistent warm color balance that expresses skin tones beautifully, making them ideal for capturing subject textures. Color reproduction is also consistent when lenses are interchanged, which can help reduce post-production work.
HDR video offers an expanded tonal range that represents the visual expression close to its natural image. Our 8K-compatible chromatic aberration correction reduces color bleeding, and the light-shielding design and optimized coatings reduce ghosting and flaring.
The inner focus system reduces focus breathing, giving greater stability to framing a shot.
The 11-blade iris gives the lenses a natural bokeh effect that is almost circular from maximum to the minimum aperture. The odd number of blades diffuse the glow of high luminance subjects for softer imaging.

Advanced Lens Metadata Support
The Flex Zoom series lenses are compliant with a wide range of communication standards thanks to the versatile lens-to-camera communication function including Cooke /i Technology™ (PL mount) and EF mount. This will enable you to display or record lens metadata as well as utilize camera functions such as aberration correction, peripheral illumination correction and focus guide function with compatible cameras.

Both the CN-E20-50MM T2.4 L F / FP and CN-E45-135MM T2.4 L F / FP lenses share the same design with consistent front diameter, gear positions and gear rotation angles. Weighing under 8 pounds and measuring under 10 inches long, the lenses also feature focus, zoom, and iris rings with industry standard gears and 0.8mm pitch to suit many third party follow focus accessories. The lenses feature luminous (glow in the dark) metric and imperial markings for easy operation in low light. Orders over $99.00 will receive free FedEx Ground shipping (typically 2-3 business day shipping) in the contiguous (lower- 48) United States. In stock orders placed after 1:00pm CST on weekdays will not ship until the next business day. Orders submitted online before 1:00pm CST, Monday - Friday will be processed that same day. though, this does not guarantee that your order will ship that same day. Orders are subject to verification and sometimes require additional information from the cardholder. These precautions are made with the card holder's interests in mind. We will attempt to reach the cardholder for up to five (5) working days after the order has initially gone through our verification department. After the allowed time, and if we are not able to verify the credit cardholders information, we will cancel and refund the pending order. Orders placed after 1:00pm CST Fridays will not ship until the following Monday. The $99 order total is calculated after all rebates and bundle discounts have been applied. Gift cards, duties, and taxes do not count towards the $99 order total. Our free shipping is available for orders completed using our online cart only, items ordered in store or by phone (approved by Bedford Executive Team members only) will not qualify for free shipping.
